Generation Y it seems you’ve found your fatal flaw.
You’re letting yourselves be used by the makers of the law.
They say everything’s is going to be all right.
But you know they can never be right.
We’re going to have to fight to take back our world
From this tyrant who is surrounded by a swirl,
Of war and anger and everything that comes.
And he’s throwing off humanity with a shrug.
And we will arise o numerous times.
And the sadness that surrounds us will die.
All that we fight for will survive
This slowly decaying society.
O parents and elders won’t you lend a helping hand?
Or perhaps an open ear because you’ve screwed up this land.
And though your time of being right will soon enough be up
You can still influence our minds that are not yet ready
To face this world of over bearing poverty.
Because we are still naive to the words that you feed us.
For the people that we trust are not to be trusted,
And we will have to find out who they are.
And we will arise o numerous times.
And the sadness that surrounds us will die.
All that we fight for will survive
This slowly decaying society.
Senators, politicians please heed the call.
You’re using your fortune for your personal gain.
But please rethink your lives at this time
And stop telling your unfortunate lies.
The only thing you have to worry about is Generation Y.
Because we’re the next leaders in line.
So make the world right while you still can.
And you will find we will arise.
And we will arise o numerous times.
And the sadness that surrounds us will die.
