Songwriting

Many of the songs I perform solo and with “Living Hiatus” are original. When I placed as a finalist in 2006 and won second place at the STARQUEST vocal contest in 2007 in Eau Claire it was with my own songs. When my band “Living Hiatus” became regional finalists in the 2007 Launchpad competition it was with three original songs.

I teach guitar lessons to classes of 6 to 12 students for Cumberland Community Education, (Spring and Fall semester 2007) to date.

Since June 2007 I’ve been teaching private guitar lessons at The Dancing Bird Studio & Gallery.

A WINTER WISH - a comedy by Scott Thompson of “My Town Pictures” - played Billy, wrote the theme song for the opening and closing credits, and wrote and performed a song in the movie.
